Chargeback Exposure Audit

Your chargeback number, from your last 90 days of ROs

A one-time, fixed-fee check of every warranty RO from the last 90 days against GM's own warranty audit checklist, the 53 requirements in bulletin 23-NA-154. Not a 20-to-50 RO sample. Delivered in five business days as a report your service manager can act on line by line.

What you send

Two exports. Fifteen minutes.

  • Warranty RO detail, last 90 days — the shop copy (3Cs, labor lines, punch times, approvals), PDF or CSV from your DMS.
  • Warranty claim register for the same ROs, with status and paid amounts.
  • Optional: time tickets, parts retention log, sublet invoices, your GM P&P edition.
  • No customer data. Suppress customer name, address and phone in the export. The check never reads them, and the VIN can be cut to make and model year.

Send what you have. The report says which checks ran and which could not, per RO.

What you get

A report that survives an argument

  • Exception list — RO, line, rule, the GM sentence and page, dollars at risk.
  • Exposure by rule, advisor, technician and by week.
  • Fix-it list — what can still be corrected before submission, and what cannot.
  • Coverage table — every RO ends checked, flagged, excluded with reason, or unreadable.
  • Your state's look-back window — exposure counted inside the months the OEM can still reach.
  • 30-minute walkthrough with your service manager.

Dollars at risk = labor and parts on the failing lines at your warranty rate, or the whole transaction when authorization fails. Never an estimate.

Questions dealers ask

How is this different from a mock audit?

A mock audit is a person reading a sample of 20 to 50 ROs. This is code reading all of them, with GM's sentence and page on every exception, at the price the sample costs. And it ends in one number.

Does this replace my processor?

No. Processors key claims; we check ROs against GM's own policies before they key them. Keep both.

Will GM see this as adversarial?

The checklist is GM's own minimum requirements. Meeting them is what GM asks. Nothing we produce goes to GM.

Where does our data go?

An isolated environment per dealer, no model keys on the box, deleted on request, never trained on. Groups can run it on their own VM. Details →

Ford, Stellantis, Toyota?

GM first because its rules are public. Ford and Stellantis are next. Bulletin Watch tells you when yours is live.
